"Red States Feed at Federal Trough, Blue States Supply the Feed"
TaxProf Blog: Red States Feed at Federal Trough, Blue States Supply the Feed

If Blue States didn't have to subsidize Red states, Red State politics and economics would be bankrupt and the nation would be Blue.

As was posted in #149, it wasn't Bush that "crashed the economy."

The GOP is against any immigration reform? Which party sued Arizona because of their policy on the subject?

Bush may not be in total fault for the economy but he is partly to blame. Spending billions in an unneeded war and cutting taxes at the same time while deregulating banks did not help things. I mean immigration reform like the Dream Act not reform that makes people more oppressed. Our health care system is a disaster and reform is needed but Republicans are still under this delusional fantasy that our health care system is fine and "the best in the World". Too wrapped up in the goddang bible and flag waving crap to take the rose colored classes off.

Nonsense, this is an oft quoted canard of the right, but is not accurate, Every single modern industrial nation is socialist to one degree or another. The nations beating our pants off economically are all socialist.
