I'm born and raised in California ... raised my kids who are now adults ... and worked for 35 years in a good profession ... and I never thought I would leave California up until 10 years ago ... but today is a much different situation ... I am leaving like many others and for the same reasons ... California has gone bad with political corruption and total mismanagement ... and now the state is imploding financially and socially. I would not recommend anyone to come to California and I would highly recommend people to leave before its too late.

No doubt CA is a great state and we wish you the best. Just need to get rid of your lousy Politicians and most importantly balance your checkbook.

How's that going ?

Why thanks Mr .highnlite! Yep, I've been busy making my move out of California. Not a whole lot of time to chit-chat.

The reality is it won't cost them anything (in fines) if they reduce their emissions and there are tons of ways to get around it as simple as starting bus programs on campus and installing solar panels. Reducing emissions means reducing pollution so it's a good thing to do any way.

So we can either spend millions of dollars jumping through hoops, then spend it again when the hoops get smaller, or pay millions of dollars in fines. Brilliant!

That stands to reason since its the second largest state in the country. Still, I agree there's no reason to bash any other state to prove the point that reports of California's death are greatly exaggerated (although TX sources looove to jump on that bandwagon when they can).
