California Governor Jerry Brown on Tuesday signed a bill clearing the way for self-driving cars to jockey with human-operated vehicles to test the technology on the state's roads.

The first place to try it out is on the four-oh-five. Granted, it'll take all the fun out of road rage with no driver. Not much fun when you can't flip another human the bird, or cuss, or beat 'em up, or fire a few shots at 'em, but it'll certainly put these self-driving cars to the ultimate test.

Well they can't do any worse than someone trying to navigate by their iOS6 maps.
