California Bound?
I just moved from Florida to Washington State back in May. The weather here is really depressing me and I just cannot seem to adjust. I do not know if I would be able to move all the way back to Florida, so wondered how far into California would I have to move to in order to get similar Florida weather?

LOL you can't get FL weather here. Just warmth without the humidity No rain during the summer, no hurricanes, no tornados.
I lived in Seattle area for 9 long years, I feel your pain.

I can take warmth without humidity! How far do I have to slide from Washington to California to get that warmth? Thanks.

Try Malibu or Santa Monica or Santa Barbara or Montecito or Newport Beach.
Nice homes there and good schools there too.
Nice and warm too.
No big deal.
Warm, no humidity.
Not depressing.
You will like it.

Southern California near the beaches usually have fairly good weather.

Try looking at this page;
Sunset Climate Zones National Map (broken link)
I'm partial to zone 7 Zone 7 gets hot summers and generally above the fog and below the snow winters. There's more than the weather to like about it.

Central Cali - Sacramento, Redding, Chico, Stockton, sheesh, Alturas (pretty off the beaten path). Anywhere inland is gonna fill the bill for sunshine. or Northern Nevada: Reno, Carson City.
