Oh the low taxes thing again, don't you guys ever do your research before you post? Take good ole low tax Texas.
On an income of $100,000 all things being equal you will pay a total tax burden of $7,900 leaving you with $92,100

In the high tax heck hole of California on an income $100,000 all things being equal you will pay a total tax burden of $10,600, leaving you with $89,400. A difference of a whopping $2,700, a small fee to not have to live in Texas!

A bargain at twice the price. Texas sucks so bad even the Mexicans consider it a downgrade. I'd vote to give it back to them but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't take it.
