First auction of carbon credits takes place Wednesday. Madness, insanity as CA goes ahead with its scheme to participate in the global warming fraud. Is there no burden too heavy for the citizens of CA to bear?

When it costs business more money, it's going to cost you more money... it's really that simple.

Welcome to the utopian.

The article says that "It will give polluters an incentive to invest in green technologies to clean up their smokestacks".

Clean up? Nonsense. Carbon dioxide is an odorless, colorless gas that occurs everytime you exhale (unless you're a lib in which case it comes out of your ears). There will be no "cleaning up of smokestacks". Rather there will be shutting down of smokestacks as more companies join the stampede for the border.

Of course, carbon credits/"cap-and-trade" was a Republican idea (like Romneycare/Obamacare) until some right-leaning Democrats decided they liked it...

I'm surprised this hasn't gotten more attention. I guess no one cares that everything they buy is about to become more expensive, assuming they'll have a job to pay for it. Maybe its just the thread title.
