We had in our area, an abandoned road that led to a wilderness trailhead. The road was so encroached upon that hikers had to hike in the creek, and horsemen could not ride it. So, 40 hours of light tractor work and it is rideable, hikeable and bicycleable once again.

A beautiful ride along a year round creek chocked with trout, salamanders, bears, rattle snakes, etc.

The first 12 pictures are boring -- do they eventually get more interesting?

Nifty little tractor. We still got the old Farmall running and she still does the trick. Looks just like this ol girl.

Like the gnarly moss covered oak trees with their twisting limbs. Ever see a headless horseman there around dusk?
