Los Angeles Basin: 38 places

Someone needs to do some research about what exactly the LA Basin is.

Link please. Are these the average or median? In checking census figures for median family income for some of the OC cities listed, the numbers are waaaaay off.

lol- what's the saying? Money is the root of all evil. And we see that a city named "devil" is number one on the list.

ETA: Stintson Beach is not SF Bay Area, it is way north of SF, 'Bay Area' is predominately south of the GG bridge.

The word AVERAGE is in the title of this thread. Why are you asking something when the answer is clearly written for you to look at? LOL

And let's look at Orange County since you bring it up:

Here is a screen shot of the mean income(mean=average) for the OC places that ranked in the 1st post of this thread.

Furthermore, you cant link an interactive Factfinder stat because its interactive and the url expires, but you are welcome to log on to factfinder2.census.gov and search the data for California and elsewhere.

The median is more revealing than the average. For example, Atherton has a median household income of $250,001:

The median family income data is capped at $250,000+. Its not revealing about the top of the income rankings at all. Sorry.
