Default Are the fires near Moreno Valley?

I haven't seen the Moreno Valley area (Temecula and Riverside as well) mentioned but I was still curious. I'm moving there in a couple of months with my dad and step-mom. I didn't get an answer when I called so I was wondering if they were safe. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

There are actually fires out towards that area according to the new tonight.

Here's some info on the State of CA website WELCOME TO CAL FIRE . Here is also the link for the CHP (CA Highway Patrol) that lists info about fires too... CHP Traffic Incident Information Page

Your family is probably safe but from past experience it can be hard to reach people because phonelines in the fire area can get burned.

I talked to my Mom who lives in Moreno Valley. She said no fires there, but the sky is all nuclear like, orange and it smells like a huge forest fire.
