Although I agree with him on the legalization of pot (and a few other items) I think Rohrbacher is one of the biggest a-holes in congress.

I met with him last year as an observer with a group lobbying for mental health inclusion in medicare. I found him to be an arrogant, myopic bully. I wish I had a tape recorder going. I don't know why he keeps getting elected from my district.

I don't think so. Pot is soooo easy to get and to use.

California has a severe issue with over crowded prisons.
If this arrest log is an indicator, I would bet that many are in for simple pot use/distribution. Maybe it is time to legalize and free up prison space for the ones that really need to be incarcerated.

But it can disqualify you from being hired. Just about every company requires a drug test. Now they take a hair sample rather than a urine sample.

It's a nice gesture, but the supremacy clause makes this merely symbolic iirc.

In other words, you found him to be....wait for it....a politician!

Federal supremacy over a federal law? Oh.
Thanks for noting.

Unlikely to happen - too many states where its illegal with too many "law and order" politicians who would never vote for it.

Theme parks do both for ride operators. They are going to have to reword some things if they continue to drug test after it's been legalized. Generally the wording is something along the lines of "testing for illegal substances".
