I can't find any information about this. Google street view doesn't help me either. What are the places to see in Malibu - good viewpoints, beaches and whatever else is popular. Thanks.

When in Malibu, I like:

1/ Getty Villa Museum
2/ Pepperdine University
3/ Eating at Moonshadow's or Duke's (Neptune's Net, if you like a "divey" restaurant)
4/ For viewpoints, I usually find a spot and pull over (to admire the sunset) off PCH

The Malibu Lagoon SB just completed a restoration project

Welcome to Adamson House is interesting (next to the lagoon) I would read History : City of Malibu before going to the Adamson House to get a background on Malibu's interesting history

The park that is across the Pacific Coast Highway from Pepperdine has great views. The nicest beach is probably Zuma. There is great scenery all of the way to the Ventura County line (and beyond).

Malibu is mainly a long strip of Pacific Coast Highway. Houses line the ocean side. The side facing the street is the back of the house. There is often a wall. Some areas are on private roads. The estates are up in the hills, fenced and gated. The celebrities want privacy and they can afford it. You can't really see much.
