Hello. I have only lived in San Diego since 1953. Elmer was in the Navy.
My second post! Hope I am doing it right. (My son says I am doing fine!)

Hello Mr. Snort (I am guessing you are a he because I don't think a woman would call herself Snort) and thank you for writing. I have been waiting over two hours for a response to see if I am doing this correctly. My son says I don't have to wait, but I wanted to be sure.

To answer your question, no, Elmer was always pretty thin. Now my sister's husband was a Navy man too, and he got pretty round. They live in Jacksonville. So maybe there's something to that, but not for my Elmer.

And thank you again for writing. You're very nice. Now I can have my dinner and not wonder.

I have lived in Walnut Creek and San Francisco. I liked San Francisco because it has a good public transportation system.

In chronological order:

Gardena
Davis
Los Angeles (Westchester)
Santa Rosa

Favorite so far: Santa Rosa, although I did enjoy living in Westchester due to its proximity to cool stuff and the fact that I was living in an older affordable apartment in a nice complex in a lovely neighborhood I could never afford to live in otherwise.
