Hi Glo. The rats race in the city streets. Weekdays from about 6 in the morning till about 6 at night mostly. Yeah. Mostly they just mill around.

Those same people - who bought their homes in 1953 -are probably in their 80's by now, wouldn't you say? I may be misinterpreting your statement but you sound bitter. I can assure you that if these elderly have 1.5M in the bank, they are NOT receiving "meals on wheels." They may have an aide from an agency that comes in and cooks for them (they do that you know) or they may have family that helps them.

It's pretty simple. If you can't afford the taxes, don't buy the house. It's like someone asking how much it's going to cost to insure a rolls royce.
