For the next few weeks, there will be plenty of activity for the crew of COPS. They are currently filming in Stockton, California. Wonder if the city will be compensated for this like they are when movies are filmed there. They cold certainly use the $$$ Finally, crime pays!

No surprise. They won't film "COPS" in Beverly Hills, Atherton, Palo Alto, Newport Beach or Manhattan Beach!

Not only that. If they filmed in Palo Alto, Beverly Hills, the city councils would have a fit! It would not be "politically correct".

Interesting. Is it because there's more crime than they want the public to know or do they consider the show tacky? Maybe both?

You need toothless, shirtless and drunk hillbillies for a good episode of cops. Outside the Orange County Fair and the Walmart, you don't see many of them in Orange County.
