Actually, the title doesn't say it all. What is your definition of a city? California is filled with large cities to small towns (really small - under 1,000 people!). Give us a clue, please. Population 50,000+?

By the way, I can't say what my favorite city is, because I haven't been to every city in California! This is a huge state, and can only be explored one section at a time - at least for those of us with limited vacation time!

San Diego. Not too big, not too small. PERFECT weather. Generally nice people, and city has a very clean feel to it. Everytime I'm in San Diego I get a similar feeling to when I walk into a terrific nicely cleaned new hotel room.
