No worries! It's a bit confusing how the California board is split, so it even trips me up sometimes. Weird, though... I could've sworn I had moved this to San Francisco, rather than general CA. Would you rather have it here or there?

I lived in Burlingame for 2 years from 2001-2003 and enjoyed it. Yes, there are a lot of apartments there (many people cannot afford to buy, even making a professional wage, so have to rent), but actually I paid the same for living there then I did in pretty awful South San Francisco. Rentals were reasonable by BA standards then.

There is a very nice library, and Burlingame avenue has a bit of night life as well. Ideal weather and monster eucalyptus trees. The town is well kept and kind of quaint.

Has that "old" BA feel, according to my Dad who has lived in the Bay since the late '50's.

Fairly mild... a bit of rain (varies depending on the year), averages typically range from 50-65. It's usually about 5-10 degrees warmer than San Francisco, unless you're right on the bay - in which case, it can feel MUCH colder with that wind!

Here's the 5-day forecast for Burlingame, for this week (early November):

Today: Partly cloudy. High 62F. Winds NW at 15 to 25 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 48F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.
Tomorrow: Intervals of clouds and sunshine. High 63F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.
Tomorrow night: Mostly cloudy. Low 52F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday: Times of sun and clouds. Highs in the mid 60s and lows in the low 50s.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the low 60s and lows in the low 50s.
Thursday: More clouds than sun. Highs in the low 60s and lows in the low 50s.

It'll drop a few degrees in mid-winter, and you might see the high 30s a few times... but like I said, fairly mild!
