Hi All

Just after some advice on buying some vacant land in California, Dont want to spend a lot and roughly looking at around 1 acre. Basically what I want to do is buy the land and build a shed on it to store and work out of while Í'm staying there. Ive done a lot of searching, and so far Ive come up with San Luis Obispo and Valley Springs. If anyone can give any advise on these places or sugest better areas for me to look it would much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Daniel

Price is not the only thing to consider. There is zoning, covenants on the land, etc., that will tell you if you are allowed to just build a shed and store things.

Agree that the land use rules may be really prohibitive. The cost of permits, rules about septic, blah blah blah, can be ridiculously expensive in Ca. If you are ready to just live in a trailer-type situation, you might be best off getting an RV and paying for rent in an RV park.

I guess we need to know more specifics about your situation and needs to advise further.
