Right now I live in Rancho Cucamonga (San Bern county) and locked in a lease for an apartment with my friend and his girlfriend, my name and his girlfriend are both on the lease, he is not because of his bad credit. The lease ends in June 2014, I talked to the leasing office and they said that they can remove my name if my friend's GF and I sign a roommate agreement and she qualifies for the current lease, which I highly doubt she alone will quality because her credit history isn't that long enough. I told my friend why I'm moving out and he's ok with it but doesn't want to live with a stranger, then again he's not on the lease so he has no official power. Yes the leasing office here said that I can bring in another person to fill the lease.

So my question is, will there be any other alternatives to this situation? If all else fails I plan to just find someone else, I move out January 2014 so I've plenty of time to start looking.
