Bakersfield...

No, I don't think you would like it there, but you could rent for 6 months and find out if you do.

Yes some will make an honest dollar but the rest have ruined California. When a large group of people have no education, no money, no skills and can't speak the native language crime and destruction is the norm. It's a shame too. California use to be a beautiful place.
Youre looking into Texas and Arizona, yes? Well they have just as many Hispanics as California so....

About 20 years ago I unluckily was a witness to a double homicide there, so Bakersfield kinda left me with a bad impression.

As opposed to conservative race-baiters?

Seems odd that one who holds such thorough disdain for a massive segment of the population of a chosen destination would nevertheless choose to live there.

I have not chosen to live in CA. I'm merely considering it so again you make assumptions which are erroneous. And yes I don't like illegals violating our sovereignty and justifiably so. Funny how when liberals can't argue with facts they resort to accusations of racism. If I decide not to relocate to CA it won't be because of illegals it will be because of all the dam liberals.

Good. There are already 38 million people living in this state. We don't need anymore.

Lived here for a long time, never had a problem. never been unemployed. Houseing is very affordable. It does get hot in the summer but is nice in the winter and there are plenty of good places to eat if that matters.

I don't think you'll have to worry too much longer at the rate people are leaving.

As far as Bakersfield goes its too dry for me (hell, up north here is too dry for me this past year!) and the air quality is pretty poor. It is only two hours from L.A. for big city activities - a plus other San Joaquin Valley cities don't have.
