Question school systems??

I posted before asking ?'s to the Apple Valley, VVille areas and around there...can anyone tell me about the school systems?? I would like to hear the good and the bad! Like I said my boy is in the 6th grade now! Would they accept him coming from KY? Any info is so very helpful! Thank You!

Hello there Whitewavelynn! Sorry I missed your other post. We discussed a little about the school system here in Apple Valley on this forum in the following thead:

No worries about your son being accepted out here! If anything, the kids will think he is cool because he's from out of state.

I think your son would be accepted no problem.

You can check the score at; http://dq.cde.ca.gov/dataquest/. Use API scores and San Bernardino county. You can check demographics, parent education levels and APY.

My feeling is Apple Valley and Snowline are the bet school districts in the high desert and likely the only two I wld entertain the thought of letting my kids go to high school in, which wont be far off if your ds is in 6th grade. Both also have very good magnet schools as options.
