wow, I can think of some places much more boring than say, W. Covina or Ontario: how about Barstow, Crescent City, Yreka, Baker, the drive up old highway 99, even Death Valley?

Since they didn't lead with Stanton it's obvious they have NO concept of "boring".

My aunt and uncle owned a cotton farm outside Dos Palos (between Los Banos and Merced). I must say that was a pretty boring trip for a kid. After I wandered around looking at (and messing around on) my uncle's tractors and harvesters for an hour or so I was ready to go home. Only thing of interest was the big canal beside their house. The few times we went into Dos Palos I kept thinking "what a boring place".
