You did not offer the choices needed to answer the question. Realize that the State Government is voted in at a slim margin within most of the state. The margin favors the Liberal Democratic side of things currently. A big part of the electorate is Conservative. Many more are Moderate made up of both Republicans and Democrats. And all that happens with about 42% of the voters getting to the voting booth. Always wonder what would happen if 80% of the people voted.

Bingo.

It's always surprising to me that the very constituency that votes
the Left into office (lower-middle class caucasians, Hispanics, Blacks)
seem to get screwed the most by the parties policies. Look at the
San Francisco Bay Area or West LA, see any thriving black, hispanic,
middle class hoods? I don't, because lefty NIMBY green liberals won't
build more housing because "it'll ruin the character of the neighborhood".

But if you want to live in the exurbs or the warzones of Oakland, we'll be sure
to hand you tax payer funded housing subsidies and free health
care (whether you're a citizen or not)! Yet Feinstein will probably
die in office, and they'll elect yet another Leland Yee or Calderon type who
will trumpet gun legislation in the name of "public safety", while making
hundreds of thousands of dollars being a triad gun runner on the side.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

As long as we're talking about things we personally find interesting, I have always found it interesting when ideologues, of any persuasion, quote others whose beliefs are opposite. Take for instance Einstein. Aside that the quote about insanity is believed to have not originated with him, Einstein was a socialist. So were he to have applied that sentiment to political ideology it certainly would have referred to conservative positions.

Just sayin.

First off, never attributed the quote to Einstein (another attempt to invent an argument, common Tulemutt behavior). I simply agree with the ideological point.

But since you brought it up, you think socialist favor illegal immigration, criminal gun trafficking, political corruption, the dissolution of a middle class, and green eco NIMBYism? Are you sure you know what socialism is, maybe you should google a few articles or take a community college course to help you out?

Here's the good news. Without the constraints of any thought stifling ideologies, I have twice as many people to pick arguments with than most folks.

Yep. Driven by a great sense of humor, mostly.

And you? What drives your delightful attack-Chihuahua focus here on the forum? Doing service for the community? Gracefully changing minds through rational dialectic? I marvel at your ability to turn back the tide of liberalism with such charm and wisdom!

It's funny that you continually frame things as a battle of liberal vs conservative. Another piece of evidence that proves you don't actually understand many of the topics you jump into with "your great sense of humor".
