Maybe it's time to re-evaluate your position as a religion moderator

I did not find this true AT ALL when I lived in Southern Calif. for two years. I drove the freeways all the time, and although no one stuck to the speed limit, everyone was courteous. If I put my turn signal on to change lanes, they immediately made room for me. I was told if someone honks at you, they're not from here, and it was true. One time a big pick-up truck was tailgating me....I was surprised since by then, I was not used to aggressive drivers. I let the truck pass and sure enough, it was from TX. My elderly mother drove my car when she was visiting, really was unsure of where she was going, yet no one ever gave her a hard time. I never saw one person honk or "flip off" another driver. So I was very confused when I saw your post that makes it seem as if aggressive driving and road rage is the norm in Calif. Maybe in San Fran, but that was not my experience in the L.A. area.

By no means the norm here or in Southern California.

I guess all those people I see every day weaving through traffic like its Nascar, cutting people off, tail gating, passing on the shoulder, making dangerous mid-block U turns, going straight from the right turn lane, etc. are in my imagination.

Perhaps but all the people that do none of those things aren't.

Have you driven in San Francisco lately?? Of course not EVERYONE is a crazy driver, but the majority are... otherwise I too am imagining things, because I deal with them every single day. And don't even get me started on the cab drivers! My only accident ever was with an SF cabbie, who decided to switch lanes without looking - and that's nothing compared to their normal habits.

I haven't done much driving in L.A., but did find the drivers to be more courteous than they are here! Btw, I didn't write the original post (it was a forwarded joke), so while I agree with most of it, don't take it all as MY opinion.

LOL... nobody said the moderators have to be religious, did they? Actually I'm what you might call an Agnostic Jew, one of the other religion mods is an Atheist, and the other is a Christian - we thought it was good to have some balance!

Sounds like you are like my wife, she's not Jewish, she's Jew-ish.
