But what would we do without the fantastic CA Tin Hat Brigade? The Ironic Humor component of our state's entertainment milieu would take a rather gnarly hit, man.

Well, at least we would be assured that the paranoid shall then no longer inhabit the beach. Surf's up!

Oliver Stone would still be able to make movies from his radiation-proof bunker 5 miles below the Colorado Rockies.

That news source reported that some people are freaking out about Fukushima.

The only thing it 'proves' is that people are freaking out -- not that the freakout is in any way justified.

You conveniently overlooked this part:

Quote:
Northwest of Hawaii, for example, Buesseler has found Cesium-134 at concentrations as high as 3.8 becquerels per cubic meter.

But to put that in context, he said, the U.S. drinking water limit is 7,400 of those units.
I know math is hard, but do try to keep up.

HOG wash.

don't bother desalting pacific ocean now that it is now polluted.
heck even the rain water to a large extent because many hot particles dissolve in water.

wait until Japan stops dumping radiation into the ocean first.
otherwise the desalting plants are useless.

if you need to use the pacific ocean now.
you will have to

first set up many barriers that will absorb the radiation FIRST then desalt it.
otherwise don't bother

you can consider suing Japan or blaming god.
won't help

but Japan is on the RING OF FIRE

you should expect more problem from them.
especially if they fire up anymore Nuclear plants.
(whomever was the idiot that thought having a nuclear plant on a main fault line
is an idiot they need to do humanity a favor and get killed/shot/suicide.)

Also FORCE JAPAN to use thorium and any other nuclear power plant as it is easier to control and just as cheap.

only thing cannot sell plutonium.

also I would not recommend eating ANY sea food from the pacific ocean.
only eat locally grown OUTSIDE OF ocean food.

also no farmed products from the west coast unless in green houses.
DO NOT COLLECT or drink rain water from the west coast.

I would imagine the cities water is slowly becoming contaminated as well with hot particles a small amount for now and becoming more and more
eventually being a problem as their filtration systems fail.
what we need is a gigantic vortex that keeps the radiation in japan and stays there.

maybe we need to nuke japan again.

or perhaps try this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNw4TrQoEN4

force the radioactive isotopes into one area first.
or if possible neutralize them.

California consider building a vortex barrier where rediverts the current back to Japan and only new water that lands would be your own.

perhaps every nation should do this
only japan would get the radiation then.

ideally japan will be proactive and contain their poison on their own land and not the rest but we cannot trust them to do so. so we need to protect ourselves.

Japan can easily contain the dumped water.
if they filter all the water back into their own country.

but then that means Japan would be dead.
BUT it is BETTER than the world dying.

have vortexes to contain Japan. or

we need to NUKE Japan to make a big enough hole into the center of the earth to dump the radiation.

and no China Syndrome would not take place.
remember gravity. is centered. all it would do is force the uranium back into the earth.

don't listen to the BULL that nuclear experts say
this is a problem

I idiots in Japan that wanted to make an ICE SHEET was doomed to fail.
WE ALREADY knew that.

they never had a solution from the start and wanted to make excuses to take the easy way out.
We need to start punishing Japan for failing.

now they are continuing their failure.
and wants to start more nuclear plants without solving their problem first and creating another.
their politicians + businesses are drunk on nuclear.

we need to stop their addiction now before they cause more damage.
they dont seem to realize they are on FAULT LINES the biggest in the world RING OF FIRE.

sorry why only test for cesium when there are other things to test.

eg strontium etc.

and they should be worried actually.
I would worry about drinking water + fish/seafood.

seafood first.

swimming should still be fine for now in the oceans.

Hawaii is eventually doomed...though
sorry.

Study: Hawaii has lower Fukushima radiation risks - Hawaii News Now - KGMB and KHNL

seems to be slower to accumulate than west coast.
but don't worry you'll get more

Japan that said they will slow dumping radiation in oceans
HAVE in fact INCREASED DUMPING.

and their ICE SHEET PLAN FAILED AS EXPECTED.
they have no plan and no way to stop it.

it would actually be best if we nuke Japan reactors right now instead.
it may collapse the plant and we would only suffer a small while. as the particles travel.

contain that area and build a large sea wall around the area.
a dome so to speak.

repelling rain water and such.
to a small amount.
they still refuse to do so.
cost too much.

we could try to air lift the whole thing and send it to space instead.

we are already destroying the pacific ocean may as well risk airborne radiation instead and try to completely nip it in the bud.

vote for sending nuclear fuels into the sun.
since so much nuclear has already spilled into ocean we may as well.
accidents will happen but better than leaving it here on earth.

otherwise send it into the pits of earth dig a gigantic hole with a nuke and dump nuclear waste in there then cover it up. with a dome.

consider putting it either at north pole or south pole
because magnetic fields are low and thus radiation = high.

magnetic field radiation shield

We are blessed we now have definitive answers that trump those of experts in this matter. A most remarkable evolution.

That whole post was satire, right?

Probably not. Sounds suspiciously like some folks I've known who insisted they had "insight" from the netherworld that others were not privy to, that must be believed, lest we all perish. Their disability notwithstanding, of course, but the rest of us just don't "understand" that "gift", either.

Entertaining prognostications from the bunker. Keep 'em coming!
