No, that happened in Seattle -- land of passive-aggressive drivers from hell.

I don't think he got hurt, but he did learn a valuable lesson about riding in Washington.

Why are there so many horrible humans on planet earth? What kind of a person willing wants to hurt a motorcyclist or anyone for that matter?

Well since we pack our own in TXcan see this becoming an ugly issue if it ever passed in TX.

There was an attempt to legalize it in Arizona in 2010, but Jan Brewer vetoed the bill.

It's as safe as the person doing it. That rider should have known better than to try to lane-split on a big wide bike past a truck. If only he had had access to state-issued guidelines on how to do it safely -- lane-splitting past trucks is specifically mentioned (twice) in the now-censored guidelines as something you shouldn't do.

People who don't ride a motorcycle or who do and live in a state where it is not legal think it is not safe.

If you ever learn how to lane split you will come to realize that it is as safe as you are a rider.

Look up the stats...it is much safer than you think.
