Lanai ~Thank for the info. I've looked at the Palms Springs area a bit. Riverside county, right? CPS in that area offers a fair hiring bonus...so that would be a plus. What kind of gay/lesbian center, community activities are going on in that area? Thanks ~ Chloe Dog

If you don't hang a big sign on you that says I am GAY I don't think their will be a problem. I am sure you know how to meet people of your kind with out the hole world knowing what you are. But California is a good place for you.
And if you are into this, Their is a nude beach at Avila Beach only 10 15 miles from SOL

And that nude beach is called Pirates Cove. It used to be beautiful until people started throwing junk cars and stuff over the cliff. Please forgive Junkman. he means no harm. Just a offbeat [and in my opinion] great sense of humor!

Is Pirates Cove (just south of Point Dume) still a nude beach? We used to check out all the "naked ladies" back in the mid 1970s....

I went their often in the 70s 80s at sometime not sure when good ol Los Angeles stpped it screwed it up for everyone that enjoyed it. Remember the parking lot would be full but no one was on the beach Until you went over the rocks then their was bare butts as far as you could see.
Why they felt the need to stop it I don't know, The nude part of the beach could not be seen from anywhere until you went over the rocks.
