Not immersing one's self in the pageant of insanity can be an act of willful focus on other aspects of life - and done without denial. Your and others' outrage changes what? This act of lunacy will never be repeated now that people around the world have reacted in horror? It feeds the perpetrators. It was an act of theatre for them. We are their audience.

There's nothing naive about accepting the world's insanity and refusing to participate in it.
Horse manaky!

I am a grown man in college and, no lie, I want that Roy Rogers/Dale Evans lunchbox set. Who needs plastic bags when you have one of those?

I disagree. The state has to deal with the landfill problems, so it makes sense for the state to deal with any such problems.

I didn't read all of the responses after this one. The thread seems to have gone viral lol! But, I doubt any new points have been made.

So for what it's worth, I feel it's appropriate for the state to mandate a moratorium on plastic bags for customers to take home. Whether that's grocery stores, or Wal-Mart, or whomever.

I demand an equal gender lunchbox. Where's Barbie? (My lunch box was a black plastic one, with a picture of Barbie and her blonde ponytail.)
