Scottsdale, AZ (8 yrs) (New and clean and very nice, hot summers)
San Diego, CA (8 yrs) (Beautiful from a distance, superficial and pretentious when close)

Thought coming back to SD would be great 8 years ago would be wonderful. What a wake up call I got. Even though the weather is great, there are just too many people, too many illegals, too much traffic, sleazy public beaches, overpriced housing. Too many friggin languages. Can't wait to be gone in just a few months!

Born in L.A. County, lived in both Orange (Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa) and L.A. County (too many cities to name - but mainly Pomona, Redondo Beach, Ontario, Los Angeles), moved outside of the state for a total of seven years... came back for an L.A. man who was raised in Orange County but also lived in FL. I have a love/hate relationship w/ California but no place has ever felt like "home" to me except here, so, I'll probably die here.

Born in Argentina, grew up in Spain. I have been bouncing around the US since I was 16. Current bounce in Sacramento(4 months so far). Not sure how long we will be here but I have no plans to retire here. Nothing wrong with the place just want to be closer to family.
