Where are you from originally?
I was reading a post from another state and it was interesting to read how many 'natives' still live there.
I'm a California native, still living here... Any others?

Born in Merced county.. grew up in Stanislaus county - central cali....  still here 47 yrs later... with a short jaunt in Portland, OR for 9 mos in 1981.... leaving within the year... *fingers crossed that our home sells* to Eastern WA...  |

From Texas Gulf Coast. Came to CA in 1983 for a visit and never went home.
I did spend 10 months in Minnesota. It was insanely cold but it was the boredom that brought me back to CA and not the cold.

California native,born and raised in Calaveras county, stayed there for 47 yrs except when I got drafted, moved to Clovis 10 1/2 yrs ago because of my job, should have done it yrs before, getting ready to retire thinking about Idaho,Utah or Oregon, this is a good place regardless what people say and the jokes they make, but I am tired of living in Northern Mexico.  |

Born in Wellesley, MA. Dad was a high-tech type, so moved to Morgan Hill for a job in Redwood City when I was 6. After I graduated college, I moved north a little ways to the peninsula for my job.
