The Asian part and your history posting. Places that you look for in your price range and economic conditions don't exist in California. There isn't much tech work in Sac; that's more of a Silicon Valley thing.

There's tons of posts on this board where people are asking about the ethnic composition of locations. Lots of people asking for areas with african, Caribbean, indian, etc populations. It's not a big concern, but more of a curiosity since it seems that areas with lots of Asians that also have businesses are also expensive. Yes, there was an exchange in another thread that made me think about it and how positive Asians have been to America. Guess I started actually feeling proud of my ethnicity there for a second.. which is something I usually avoid.

I suppose only a handful of places in America have tech work when compared to Silicon Valley. You may be right though. I do see plenty of job openings that I qualify for on dice.com in Sacramento, though. More so than plenty of other cities that I've looked at. Definitely more than New Orleans, which people around here call "Silicon Bayou" (I wish they wouldn't.)

Anyhow, I'm sorry if adding that 10% Asian criteria offends anyone. Well, sorta.
