Oak smoked salmon sounds good! I went on craigslist for Humbolt and I was surprised at the variety; fir, redwood, eucalyptus, alder madrone, oak, even cypress (!). It's going to be 2 below tonight and my fire is stoked. Now all I need is a good book. The old fashioned kind. With real pages....
