I'm from Clovis. It's a great place to live. Of course being from Clovis, I thought the Fresno News section of actual news articles from the Fresno Bee was interesting, as it advised what life in Fresno was like.I was always curious about that, as Fresno is generally unknown or thought ill of in different places around the country. Blame the media for that I guess.Did you all know that Clovis NM, has played a home and away series with schools from Clovis, CA over a few years? Bet you didn't know that. Some people find that interesting, and are happy to exchange football cultures before during and after them games. Beat them eagles, you alll. The rodeo is coming up, why don't you all saddle up and go enjoy a slice of Clovis. They just celebrated Big Hat Days, in town and had a fine hootennanny. Now then, guess what. I am from Clovis, New Mexico. And coming to the CA general thread to advise that some of the readers of this fine establishment enjoy reading the Free Chat thread here, and the news reports with a mix of the humor mixed in. Can you believe that?Thought I'd throw in my 2 cents this fine morning.Salutations from Clovis, NM partners.I guess it's ok to talk about Clovis here, there's not a sub-forum for Clovis is there?

Sir, the topic is Clovis, CA. Do you know any good Thai restaurants in Clovis, CA? If I want to discuss Clovis, NM I will return to my home forums of NM. I did learn that you can play some cards and have a fine meal in downtown Clovis, CA at the 500 Casino, conveniently located on Clovis Avenue, pretty near 168 from the google map.You all better watch out for your water supplies there in Clovis. Did you know the Rio Grande goes dry before it reaches the Gulf? Damndest thing. I don't use it anyhow, but I propose that we call migrant workers of all sorts greenback because they make the rich farmers green money as they pick the green vegetables for us to eat. Anyone agree?I find fresh vegetables an important part of a well balanced diet. And don't want to pick them myself nohow. If that little joke doesn't work for you, you should know that I call people, as people when I'm not joking on the internet.

Is there something wrong with Clovis, CA? They seem a great bunch of people when they came here and played us. Just regular folks. Good football teams there at Clovis West. You all remember Mackay Christensen? Played for the Yankees, 2 sports star in high school. Made it to the big leagues.McKay ChristensenBut - BR Bullpen Our boys are multiple state champs. Don't think the Golden Eagles of Clovis West have ever won a state championship in football.http://www.nmact.org/file/FB_Stats_and_Records.pdf
Please stay on topic.

Well hello good sir noob! I just would like to say that I have a feeling when you say rich farmers, that you are taking a political poke here!? I just want to clear up that all rich farmers do not sway only one way on the red and blue scale, but I will agree that fresh vegetables are the bees knees!

Unfortunately, other than that.. I do not have much to add about Clovis, CA.
