west of the Mississippi but I admit, in the "South" for your purposes (read up on the Civil War in the West).
Really? Huntington Beach is now the Great South of California Who knew? And to think that I was mostly raised in Newport Beach and never had a clue back in the 50s and 60s, or even the 70s when I returned to CONUS as a 20-something adult!
