That's the most misguided - nearly delusional - thing I've seen lately.

Sir, I was a nurse for 30 years, 25+ years in California. Coincidentally, I now live in Tennessee. May I suggest that you finish Nursing School in Tennessee, work as a nurse for a few years here, save your $$ and then try California. Tennessee and California have reciprocity agreements so you will be able to transfer your nursing license with no problems. This is exactly how I got my start. It worked out well for me. I made a great living in California and then retired back home in Tennessee at a more reasonable cost of living. You DO NOT want to move to california broke! A newborn baby knows no difference between a California lifestyle and a Tennessee lifestyle. You have time. Although for the life of me I dont understand how life in Southern California could possibly be any better than the wonderful State of Tennessee. Unless you live in east Nashville or south Memphis. then ANYWHERE would be better. Whatever you decide, good luck and God bless.
