If this program is impossible to accept, we will have to accept brown-outs and black-outs. Which is worse? At least with the proposed plan, the temperature is limited but the power is on. Would you prefer no power at all when it is 100 degrees F?

By the way, do you know that more people are moving to California than are leaving? And I'm talking about people from other states, not just the dreaded brown people.

How about building another power plant???

Who brought race into this? How do you explain that it is $3100 to rent a Uhaul truck to from Riverside to Boise but $500 from Boise to Riverside? I would be interested to know where you got your stat that more people are moving here from other states.

Check your stats again. California is a net loser of population domestically according to city-data.

Not really, but I think what is being referred to is the population of California is increasing even though more people are moving from California to other states than people are moving to California to other states. There are a lot of people being born in California plus people moving to California from other countries. But I understand the point.

Not why I left CA. Seriously, you'd rather have rolling blackouts and NO electricity, than have your thermostat adjusted a few degrees? I've experienced rolling blackouts in 100 degree weather, and would much rather turn my thermostat up a few degrees. But, I'm also one of those people who would do it voluntarily. I wouldn't need someone to do it for me.

Why does anyone give this a second thought when ... it's never gonna happen.

This is nothing but mental masturbation for the California haters ...

The same old ... see how crazy California is now !!!

So the bottom line is while poor folks are leaving the state faster, the rich ARE leaving. Just because its at a slower rate then the poor is irrelevant. The tax & business enviroment is driving out the rich.

Nice selective headline writing. No bias there
