Hi there- Moving to the Tehachapi area and want to rent before I buy a house. Can anyone recommend a good apartment complex in the area? It needs to be that accepts cats. Maybe one that says no to dogs, cats ok (no barking!)
A pool would be nice, but not necessary. Prefer under $700-750 a month. It will be just me, so 2 bed, 1 bath is fine. Maybe even 1 bed, 1 bath.

There are several apartment complexes in Tehachapi!!
Indian Springs, Cherry Street and Golden Hills Apartments are the only ones that
come to mind. Don't know of any that pools though.
Check out the Tehachapi News online.
Four Seasons Rentals might have a list you can get free.
I've heard good things about the newer condo's here as well.

You might want to check into Orchard Apts -

The Orchard Apartments Apartments Tehachapi, CA - Apartments for Rent in Tehachapi California.

We recently moved from Europe and also wanted to rent before we bought. They accept small pets and has a small pool. Our place was furnished which is what we wanted since it was going to be temporary. It was nicer than expected since I got it sight unseen and didn't know anyone in the area that could check it out for me. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
