I am thinking or relocating my family from the Bay Area to Morro Bay. I would love to know how good the elementary, middle and high schools are there? (Have 2 kids ages 5 & 13). I have found online review sites for schools be inaccurate (such as greatschools.com). I'd rather get someone's personal opinion about it.

I have also read that the water rates are going to be increased slowly over the next five years, and ultimately end up doubling in cost. I would like to get opinions on that as well. It is my understanding (pls correct me if I am wrong) that the water rates have been very low for the last several years. Are there any other additional utility/service costs that run high in MB?

How is the daily commute from MB to SLO for the folks that work there? I heard it can be foggy.

I really appreciate any advice and info about living there!
