$4.27 for 92 today. What can we do? On the news tonight they say gas will hit 7 to 8 bucks a gallon due to the huge demand by other countries. Not just the USA. We will see 5 by the end of this summer as gas storage supplies are depleted. The oil companies hold back gas for the normal summer demand. As I said before, I have a small SUV with a four banger engine. How about car pooling to buy groceries? Ask you best friends, maybe 3 or 4, depending on the size of their vehicles, to get together and all buy their food on a certain day. One car driving leaves two cars sitting. Then next time, someone else drives etc. It could be fun?? We have to start somewhere. Hell, we are CALIFORNIANS, we always lead this country. We do something, and a lot of states follow our lead. Any opinions?? Any suggestions?? Take care, skitow

1. Bend over.
2. Firmly grasp right ankle with right hand.
3. Firmly grasp left ankle with left hand.
4. Place head firmly between knees.
5. ... ... ... ... ... (no comment)
Okay, you probably meant that as a rhetorical question.

Gas update ..... $3.97 for a gallon regular at the Chevron in Santa Cruz.
This is going up fast. Just last week it was $3.93. Man. How far is this gonna go? Will this change? How and why? This is outrageous. Only good thing is that SUV sales will decrease. Yay. Sorry SUV owners but they're outrageous especially given the state of things.

$3.90 today at my favorite Shell station. At the Mobil station where I just filled up my car for $3.89 a few days ago, it's now $3.95!
The 76 station near me, just off the freeway, is charging $3.99.
All of these prices are for regular.

In Lompoc, on the Central Coast above Santa Barbara gas is $3.98 to $4.10 per gallon...we don't really feel that bad, we just pity the Europeans and Canadians who pay $10.00 a liter for gasoline, and besides we live so far out in the sticks Santa Barbara ships 'SUNSHINE' to us.......of course only when they have enough to give away.
