I paid $3.10 at a Shell Station in Mission Viejo and that is the lowest it has been for a while. What really confuses me is that some people could care less about finding a good price! This Shell Station is on one side of the freeway and is $3.10 for regular, while the one on the other side of the freeway on Avery Parkway, that is also Shell Gas is $3.35. That station on the other side always is 25-30 cents more than the other one yet some people still go to the more expensive!

Gas prices have been falling the last week or so, since George talked to the boys over in the Desert, a couple of weeks ago.
It is under $3.00 and falling, all over OC and the IE. In the $2.70's in OC, about a dime higher in the IE....! The're darned near giving it away...!

I just filled up at Raley's for 3.12, my VW bug cost $42.00 to fill. Good thing I just drive around town and it usually last me 10 days.

In San Francisco gas has gone up to 4.00 per gallon depending on the week of course. Right now I pay 3.74 on average for premium gas. Very high here, like most things!

I dont understand why people do this either. Even if its a 5 cent difference, I always go for whatevers cheaper.

There's a station at Portola & Woodside (Diamond Heights area, I think?) selling regular for $3.19 right this moment.
