Default Wow

I don't want to wear this thread out, but holy crap!! Today 92 cost $4.14 and deisel is $4.48!!! They are raising prices every day. I live in Mountain View. I went to Walgreens today, and the traffic was about 1/3 of normal on a Sunday. People were actually driving slower. No jack rabbit starts. What's the answer. Car pool, get a Segway, Walk, call in sick(joking). Don't buy the gas. That'll drop their prices quick. No wonder the Airlines are falling apart. Car pool if you can. I have car pooled since the '70,s. Stay safe, skitow.

Why don't you turn your Tiger loose and let it kick some gas ass? (don't know what that means myself. It just hit me).

I would imagine that plenty of the super-commuters between the Central Valley and Bay Area are now spending close to a $1000 a month on gas if they have a larger SUV or Pickup.

The price this morning for regular here went to $3.99.9 technically $4. I suspect that the rest will go up too, especially diesel and so many people here own diesel trucks because of the predominance of farming and ranching. I am glad that I do not drive a diesel truck. Sorry for the blurry picture, I simply aimed the camera at the sign and hoped for the best.

Oil went over $115 bbl today. That will raise prices more. And I read a forecast on Yahoo that said oil could go over $300 a bbl!!! Now THAT's SCARY!! Where I am living now, we have great local buses. All I need to do is buy a small cart (like I see a lot of older people using) and I'm in business. I'll take the bus!!
