Default life with only 40-50,000 in ca

im looking for either a studio, one, maybe 2 bedroom apt in long beach, san gab valley, ventrua county, san diego, or san jose with rent range max of 1000-1800 will go far up to 2000. i was wondering what type of neigborhood i'll be in and i still can enjoy single life like going to bars or clubs with my salary (minus the exemptions, planning on having 3 or above).

I would look for a roommate. You can get a much nicer apartment in a better area on a salary like that.

I concur, split the costs with a roomate. However I wouldnt stay long, $40k wont get you far in CA with the very high costs of living. You could own a pretty nice house in Texas or Georgia with that kind of money!
