Does that mean you would vote for Hillary then, if she is her parties nominee???

I see a problem with it all i guess but specifically i was re; to the impossible task of an "outsider" winning the nomination.
As DMenscha said, it's why Bernie is running as a democrat.
And

Bernie Sanders for President!

If people didn't have such a knee-jerk reaction to him 'cause he's a socialist (ooooooo, so scary ... as if this uber capitalist, consumer driven, greed driven, selfish, head in the i-pod-sand (I want more toys. Waaahhhh, give me more toys ... i need a new smart phone, blecchhhh, puke) culture is doing us and the planet any d___ good ) and would just open their minds and not be so sheeple'd and brainwashed and realize that there's no one with more heart, honor / integrity and intelligence out there ... imnsho!

Sorry. I'm pissed off tonight after dealing with my own issues of greedy and selfish and entitled people! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Well, second to who? I'm not exactly thrilled with Ted Cruz either. He was big reason for a grid locked congress and sequestration which followed. With those two neck and neck, I still have an outside hope (pipe dream) *someone* else will rise up.

There's always Rubio if he sticks around. He did better than expected coming in a solid third place. While not great, I like him better than the Trump or Cruz.

The biggest problem is not any candidate in particular, rather those who they will give power to or who has power over them. Sanders could be interesting and is no more a socialist than the vast majority of democrats that have run. They all are. Capitalism is simply the opposite side of the same coin. Both bring wealth to themselves and those who support them and claim to be helping others. Kinda like the tax on the rich. The truly rich cannot be taxed on what they already have. The ones who might become rich are held back so that the Rich maintain their power. This has happened all through history. People with power use it to keep the "club" they are a part of small. Just think if all the tech gadgets and toys, which I also agree are a major waste of money in most cases, were gone? Massive unemployment and government collapses. Money is the main power today and no one wants to lose what they have, and the rich control who does and who doesn't. Both parties.

I don't think that it's accurate to say that Sanders is "no more a socialist than the vast majority of democrats that ["who" actually] have run".

I'm not an expert in any way on economics and politics but i do know that Sanders is keeping a particular kind of liberal flame burning that i resonate with.

I don't think that Sanders is a hypocrite or a liar despite the fact that he's been in politics for a long time. Whether or not he'll be able to actually do anything if elected is another story.

And yeah, if it weren't for this disgusting consumer driven culture (it's over the top now) maybe the brilliant minds in Silicon Valley could, instead of doing what i consider to be mental masturbation, apply their mental / creative energy in a radically different way and focus on solving some major problems (i know ... some are but not the vast majority) that this country and the world is facing and that if aren't solved then game over and it's all rather irrelevant.
But noooooo ... gotta feed the machine and all the piggies. Sorry, but this culture is going down fast. (remember rome?).
And if the cultural decline (that it seems few are noticing being that their heads / eyes are glued to a d___ screen) was just effecting those who are contributing to the decline then so be it and i wouldn't really care, truth be told.
But there's a planet in peril and it's full of both human and other beings who aren't contributing to the b.s. and don't want anything to do with the dominant cultural paradigm and who are being adversely effected.
Phewy.
(and oh lord, i'm at friends house and msnbc is on and Hillary Clinton is shrieking in my ear and i think i'd rather have trump for president because at least he can be entertaining (in a baffoon kinda way). Oh that voice. Ouch!)

What if Bloomberg got into the race? He seems rather (relatively anyway) sane. No?
