This thread was offered in humor referenced specifically to California. I predict a lot of off topic comments due to the nature of the main character. Sure. But would also remind that there is a lot of fertile sarcasm in the LA Times piece to feed riotous comments specifically about how California would fare under the Donald's reign in Washington.

Go for it.

On topic. It does matter who we elect for President. We don't need another hothead or cowboy type in there.

"A state as diverse as California couldn't go wrong under the leadership of an enlightened man like Trump..."

...especially with Carly by his side!

How about someone who is nothing like any of the Recent Presidents (Last 60 years let us say). In other words someone with intelligence.

If that's not a humorous picture, I don't know what is!?! Well, maybe a Trump-Palin ticket could top it.

Well, maybe a tie?

Yeah, I think the Dems need to do a better job of fostering talent and identifying good candidates. Actually, I liked the way O'Malley came across. He seemed to give thoughtful, informed answers in the debates, while La Clinton and The Bern were mainly sloganeering.
