Reading that thread "Does California need a Miami Beach/Waikiki" made realize how lucky we are that our beaches overly developed like Rio de Janeiro. Would our entire coast be filled with homes over looking the ocean from San Diego up to Big Sur without the CCC protecting land? I feel like weathly people from across the world would be rushing to buy property all along our coast if it weren't so hard.

The CCC is one of the few bright ideas the State did.
