It has the same awful air quality as the rest of the Valley, but as Central Valley towns go, it is a pretty nice one. It has a cute Swedish themed downtown.

Kingsburg snobbish? Not while I was there. Seems to be a fairly typical central valley town, but slightly nicer than most. On the very busy and fast-growing urban corridor of Highway 99. Close to Fresno and the Sierras. That's about all I can offer.

Default K-town

Kingsburg is a little (11,000 pop.) utopia within the central valley. Wonderful place to raise children (great teachers + schools, brand new 4-6th elem.), on the conservative side, kids do get bored but Fresno is 30 minutes away... younger children have more things to do (parks, sports leagues, etc.)... very safe compared to surrounding areas, church is a big part of lifestyle, has several drug/grocery stores and fast food/restaurants.... summer music in the park... cute downtown, well maintained... large senior citizen population... overall great place to live (if you can afford it)
