They will raise taxes and fees on the remaining citizens and businesses to make up for the loss. Brown and his public employee union cohorts are not worried.

Does this matter? They’ll just move the call centers to India in 5 years.

No, it doesn't matter. Companies move jobs and centers around the nation and world all the time. Some posters just thrive on trying to craft messages of importance out of ordinary cow pie.

In fact, some appear to put out so much of the same party line OCD fluff throughout these boards, one must question whether they are being put up to thi$, in so many ways. Specious, at best.

Actually many call center operations are moving back to the U.S due to quality concerns and cost saving structures (many call center jobs in the U.S now allow workers to work from home, which cuts down on office space rental requirements).

But the question of whether job losses matters? What do you honestly think? Think about your statement for a while.

There are people here who think California losing jobs is a bad thing. [mod cut]

Right, anyone who post negative economic news about California is "being put up to it", maybe by Putin himself!

The real problem is despite the "job cuts" CA is thriving and moved from being the number 7 largest economy in the world to number 6 according to some recent threads. As it is written you get what you pay for and CA is worth the price of admission.

If you question that line of thinking move to Kentucky or give Texas a shot. Texas is fine, but I have seen too many people move back to CA from TX to believe it is an economic paradise, given the climate and culture. If you think money is everything I would suggest counseling. Money is not.

California is thriving? Okay, let's buy that theory. Can you explain why California's U6 is so high?
