Thanks for the thought, jane, but I can't relate. Soon as I get about 1/2 hour or so away from saltwater connection I start to get the hebejeebies. So for me, we can limit the new nation map to a strip of the Pacific Coast about 30 - 40 miles wide (but including all great estuaries and sounds and bays).

Just wondering if all those that want to join Canada, are you going to follow Canada's current laws, like how it bans free speach? Or are you going to take over Canada's legislator and turn all its laws into whatever Los Angeles and the Bay Area thinks is best?

I don't want to join either one. I also don't want to team up with other states at the moment right now, but I'd be open to it later down the road. I do like all places involved, but the focus right should be on uniting our own state and finding compromise so we can get it on the ballot initiative, than watering down the message with all of these different movements that aren't CA specific.

Canada's current laws are less restrictive than California's.
