We all knew this day would come some day so what now? Will California buy water in bulk from other states? Or countries?
Hi. Are you aware of primary water? You might want to check this out. Just like the truth about Fukushima and the dying Pacific Ocean... this is also kept from the public:

One thing I just don't understand why is how come the Sierra Club has so much influence over policy makers these days. Some were ready to buy the proposal to drain Hatchy Hetchy Reservor during one of the worst droughts in the century. While I agree that the dam shouldn't had been built over such a pristine valley which was already part of a National Park in the first place. however its a horrible idea to demolish the reservoir now as so much of the population of the Bay Area and Central California now depend on its water. In fact the reservoir was among the last that still have adaquate water or over half full. If we drain that its highly likely that many would experience water outages and even power shortages as the dam also generates electricity. California already have too few reservoirs thanks to projects being blocked by so called "radical Environmentalists." The same groups who also want grocery shoppers to switch to paper and reusable bags throughout the state in which according to the Beacon EIR done in Santa Barbara county a few years ago will greatly increase water use.

My sister lives up at base of Sierra Nevadas and her late husband's family were the ones who started the water rights in Inyo County... Believe what you want but the lakes up there are LOW still. I would not believe anything the LA Times puts out. I get it from the horses mouth...

Yes, it is RIDICULOUS to keep bringing in all these people when we have issues in California already and will get worse before it gets better. Majority of politicians in California have their heads in the sand. It has been run by the LEFT for how many years? Who are they helping? Certainly not the people who have lived here and paid taxes for years... Enuff said.

According to the right it is the left's fault that people are coming to California and it is the left's fault that people are leaving. You can't make this stuff up.
