Best Burger Overall
Yes, definitely In-n-Out burger. Always consistently fresh. Havent had a bad one yet no matter which one I have gone to. Come to think of it, Ive always had good customer service there too, always friendly. Must be an INO requirement. Now, wish all the other chains out there would follow.
Second on the King Falafal burger.
PS. Message to Nevercomingback. Find it interesting that you are even posting on California posts. Maybe one foot is still here? A little funny, thats all im saying. Oops, of course perhaps you live here and are NGB to where you moved from??????

Nope It means nevergoingback to California, 27 yrs was enough for me, At least I hit the Real estate bubble at the right time. I will always chime in on stuff related to the Central Coast though, I guess I will always be "from" Orcutt.

Colorado Grill, 2 locations in Fresno/Clovis.
Mammoth Orange on Highway 99 north of Madera used to make a great burger but it closed due to the 99 widening.
This Via Magazine article from a couple of years ago mentioned lots of places.

Ha anyone tried The Counter. There is one in Santa Monica on Ocean Park Blvd. and I think they may be expanding else where throughout the state. Anyways, they make an unbelievable burger that you customize with more options than you can shake a stick at. Really, really good!

OMG I didn't think anyone still remembered the Mammoth Orange. Used to be quite a few around, we'd even hit them up when heading out through Los Banos.

The city of Chowchilla has purchased the Mammoth Orange building (well the old Orange part) from the Highway 99/Highway 152 intersection.
They are going to restore it and relocate it to a new location in the city of Chowchilla just off 99.
