A lot of republican bashing in this article. It conveniently forgot what Davis did to California.
And this is 2013 article.

I did not vote for him either as I didn't agree with him on all the issues. Partisan bickering/bashing aside, his fiscal approach did succeed beyond what many said would never happen. So, I give him credit for that. Sometimes things work in spite of all the rhetoric, blaming, partisan box thinking, etc...

Brown has done some good, but the vast majority of the problems were and are caused by the Dems and their control, even under Arnold. The article is a bit biased to say the least. The real question is has it really helped the vast majority, which would be evident by a substantial drop in the U6 since he took office, not just a general drop equivalent to other States.

Amen to that. It's hard to deny the work he's done and is pretty obvious to all who are intellectually honest regardless of party affiliation or political ideology. Consider the many reports including this one from Trade and Industry Development.

California: Then and Now:

"The transformation of the California economy in the last five years is nothing short of remarkable. Flashback to 2010 before Governor Brown took office. California had a record unemployment rate of 12.4 percent, there was a massive $27 billion budget deficit and California lagged behind the U.S. in job growth. California had no state office for economic development and it seemed like once a month a visiting Governor was taking shots at California.

Fast forward to 2016. Governor Brown has delivered five on-time and balanced budgets for the first time in over a decade – eliminating a $27 billion deficit and generating a $6 billion budget surplus. The big three credit rating agencies have consistently upgraded California’s bond ratings. California now has an unemployment rate of 5.5 percent and its economic growth is outpacing the nation. The Golden State surpassed Russia, Italy, Brazil and France to become the sixth-largest economy in the world."

When you count Californias unfunded pension liability the state is broke and that is 100% Brown's and the Democrats fault.
Senile Browns religion is global warming, he has absolutely gone over the deep end on it. The biggest hoax ever fostered on the American people he is a idiot.
